What Is My Purpose In Life?

Seeking for my purpose on this planet has been a big part of my time in the last couple of months, maybe a year. Living in Canada has definitely allowed me to be my true, truest self, not being afraid of my flaws, and feeling really comfortable, just the way I am, to be honest. I felt accepted. Squamish has changed my life.

I surrounded myself with the right, like-minded people and I could not be happier to call them my friends.

I challenged myself a lot when it comes to being out there, embracing my talents, as well as my weird side. And even until this year, I still wasn’t sure what is me and who is me and what is my purpose. I just had this feeling of being so confused, constantly.

From the beginning, since I was a little girl, I would always have lots of interests and hobbies. I would be into this and that, wanting to try new stuff and get new experiences.

I’ve always loved capturing moments through the lens of my camera and telling a story or give things a meaning. My imagination has always been huge. But the problem was getting my ideas, from my head onto the piece of paper and making them happen. I did not know how to manifest from them or how to make something, worthy showing to the world, out of them. So, it was not so much of me not knowing what I wanted in life, it was more of like how to do it and when and where!

I mean, where am I going to live and work and play?

Where to settle down? Where to go to school? Do I even go to school? How do I make my ideas happen and seize the creative moments, when I feel inspired? How do I turn my passions into a career, which is one of the bigger goals for me… And how can I transfer my energy to other people, to help them and inspire them to live and make the most of their day?

I had so many questions (I still do). I felt everything was closing down on me and I was stuck in a limbo. A world in between.

And I had no idea which door to open and where to go.

I know it’s a lot. But after all, I did believe that the universe has a plan for me. And wherever I need to be and go in life, I will go. The faith will take me there, and I will get there for a reason. With the actual purpose to learn something, expand my knowledge, skills or mind and to grow. A successful day for me doesn’t measure by how much money I make, or how many projects I land. But I do consider a day, ending up successful if I made any sort of progress at anything that I’m doing, either work related, family related or when it comes to taking care of myself.

I feel in love with a process!

Which, I believe was one of the best things that came to me, in life. I have goals in my life, but the process is definitely something that I’m after! It gives me the adrenaline rush that I crave daily and it forces me to think more and come up with new ideas all the time.

I’ve been lucky enough to finally say that I turned my dream into a career that supports my lifestyle and satisfies my financial needs to do and travel more. To be honest, I don’t know what my purpose in life is. I might find out eventually, as long as I’m working on what I’m passionate about, and keep on loving the process.

Looking at the daily hustle, any sort of progress – it’s a progress. As long as I grow every day, make mistakes and learn from them, then I know that I’m going in the right direction. The definition of our purpose helps us getting onto the right path in life.
