Spearhead Traverse On Whistler-Blackomb, Whistler BC — Canada
We lucked out on a beautiful weather window this past weekend, and some amazing conditions to do the Spearhead traverse. Bethan and I started around 9 a.m. from Whistler village. We took the Excalibur gondola up to Blackcomb base and then all the way to the top.
Ski Touring In Callaghan - Journeyman Peak
Located just south of Whistler in the remote Callaghan Valley, and about a 40-minute drive from Squamish, the staging area for the lodge is easy to find. From there, it's about a 13.6 cat track to the lodge that you can either access with sleds, a cat, or even a helicopter. I have been fortunate enough to get some filming opportunities in the valley for two film projects I have been working on, and they gave us a cat ride for the day.
"The Beginning" Film 2024 - Alenka Mali
This was a very intense, year-long project (even though the production part of it only took 2 months in total. Cris and I met in January of 2024, finished the idea by the end of the month, and started looking for funding in February. In March this year, I have accomplished one of my biggest goals so far, a snowboard BASE jump. The crew made it happen in less than 24 hours, organizing each other to capture the moment.

It seems like in the world of chaos, my life is like the ocean on a dark stormy day. Between traveling, training, competitions and my own personal progression, I’m constantly craving more simplicity. But isn’t the word more, already the opposite of simplicity? Simplicity is less. Less of anything, makes it more simple.
