This spring, an opportunity presented itself to snowboard the Fuhrer Finger line off Mt. Rainier in Washington! It is one of the classic ski descents in the Pacific Northwest. And apparently, one of the longer ones!

Spearhead Traverse On Whistler-Blackomb, Whistler BC — Canada
We lucked out on a beautiful weather window this past weekend, and some amazing conditions to do the Spearhead traverse. Bethan and I started around 9 a.m. from Whistler village. We took the Excalibur gondola up to Blackcomb base and then all the way to the top.
Ski Touring In Callaghan - Journeyman Peak
Located just south of Whistler in the remote Callaghan Valley, and about a 40-minute drive from Squamish, the staging area for the lodge is easy to find. From there, it's about a 13.6 cat track to the lodge that you can either access with sleds, a cat, or even a helicopter. I have been fortunate enough to get some filming opportunities in the valley for two film projects I have been working on, and they gave us a cat ride for the day.
