I love to create joyful, heartfelt & timeless photographs for couples who love the mountains.

I prefer moments over posed photos and crisp clean colors that will stand the test of time. Most people are not used to being photographed so it’s important to me to make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera so that I can create natural photos without awkward poses or fake smiles. I want your wedding photographs to be a fun & memorable part of your day.

I love to photograph couples who value capturing moments & the beauty of the mountains and want timeless heirloom photographs that document their love story.

I have lived in Squamish since 2015 and my love for the mountains informs every photo I take. My favorite days off are spent snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, and surfing!

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT?

Sometimes I do! If the wedding coverage is bigger than what a single photographer can cover, I bring my talented friend on set with me. That also ensures everything goes as smoothly as possible.

DO WE GET OUR DIGITAL IMAGES?

Yes! I will upload your high-resolution final photographs to a private online gallery so that you can download them directly. The images are high resolution and are not watermarked so you are not restricted in print size. The gallery is also linked to a professional lab for easy online print ordering. You are welcome to share your gallery with friends & family who can download your photographs for free if you share your password with them.

ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK ALONGSIDE A VIDEOGRAPHER?

Yes. In fact, I have a great recommendation for a very talented videographer in the area that shares a similar style to mine.

HOW LONG AFTER OUR WEDDING DAY WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?

It is my goal to have all of your photographs uploaded to a private online gallery to share with your loved ones 11 days after your wedding day. There are many factors that affect how soon you will get your photos like what season you are getting married in (July through September are my busiest months for example), the lighting conditions on your wedding day, and how many final photos I have from your day!

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL WE RECEIVE?

I don’t limit how many photographs I take at any event. The amount of final photographs that I deliver varies a lot based on the weather, how much portrait time I am given, and if the wedding day runs on time or is rushed.

Generally speaking, I would say that for an engagement portrait you can expect 50-75 final photographs, 3-hour collection would generally deliver about 250-300 final photographs and for my 5-hour wedding coverage I generally deliver about 500-560 final photographs but again that number varies a lot based on the wedding day itself.

WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE IN ORDER TO BOOK YOUR SERVICES AND CONFIRM OUR WEDDING DATE?

I ask for a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer that is applied to your final balance. Both the contract and payments can be taken care of online. Please note that I can’t “pencil in” or hold dates.

WHEN IS OUR FINAL BALANCE DUE FOR OUR WEDDING COLLECTION?

I ask for a 50% non-refundable retainer when you sign a contract with me and your final balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept E-Transfers, Visa & Mastercard, or cash.

CAN YOU SIGN AS THE WITNESSES FOR OUR ELOPEMENT?

YES! Absolutely! My assistant and I would be honored to sign as your 2 required witnesses for your elopement.

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG TO OUR PORTRAIT SESSION?

Absolutely! I love when couples choose to include their dog in their engagement portraits or wedding day portraits. Make sure to bring along your dog’s most favorite treat so we can convince them to pose for photos. On wedding days it’s usually best to bring along a friend or family member who can hold your dog while they wait to have their photo taken and who can take your dog back to their air-conditioned hotel and dog sit so they are not stressed in any way.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

I find that having a pop of color really makes your photographs shine. It’s especially important to have some color for winter engagement sessions. In the winter having colorful scarves or mittens can make a big difference in your photographs. Since a lot of my engagement sessions involve walking to a photo location make sure you bring a comfortable stable pair of shoes for walking and then you can switch out to other shoes once you are at our chosen location. I find that for engagement sessions it’s best to avoid wearing white which tends to look washed out and clothing that has prominent logos that distract from the person. Typically I suggest not to wear distracting patterns but that being said I find that gingham and plaid photographs beautifully.

For heli + glacier weddings, I strongly recommend good footwear! It will not be noticeable in the photos, but it WILL make a big difference for your comfort.
